Summer S’mores Recipes With a Twist

Summer nights are perfect for gathering around a campfire and indulging in the timeless treat that is s’mores. The combination of graham crackers, toasty marshmallows, and chocolate is the perfect symphony of flavor and texture. 

But why stick to only the basics when you can add a unique twist with Coda Signature chocolate bars? We’ll never discourage classic s’mores recipes, but if you are feeling adventurous, we’ve got a fun take on s’mores featuring each of our Coda bars. Try these recipes or get inspired to create your own. 

A quick note on dosing: Coda chocolate bars are infused with THC. It’s important to monitor your dosing to ensure you and everyone else have a fun time (not an overwhelming experience). Using a square (or half a square for newcomers) is a safe approach. That’s why some of our recipes also call for non-infused high-quality chocolate bars so you can get the perfect chocolatey bite without going overboard on THC.

Maple & Pecan S’mores Cups

10 servings at 5mg THC each

Ingredients for the graham cracker crumbs:

  • 10 graham cracker sheets
  • 2 tablespoons. powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • Heavy pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup butter – melted
  • 2 teaspoons. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoons maple flavor

You’ll also need:

  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped chocolate – mix of milk and dark
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons. roughly chopped pecans
  • 5 squares CODA Signature Maple & Pecan bar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Line a muffin pan with 10 paper cups.
  2. Place the graham crackers in a ziplock bag and, using a rolling pin, crush into a fine meal. Pour into a bowl then mix in the powdered sugar, corn starch, and salt. Stir in the melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple flavor.
  3. Drop 2 tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs into each cup, then press into the bottom and slightly up the side. Layer with 3/4 of the chocolate and marshmallows, then top with 1-2 tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs. Press everything to compact, then top with the remaining 1/4 of chocolate and marshmallows, any remaining graham cracker crumbs, and pecans.
  4. Bake at 350˚F for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes, then top with a serving of chocolate and finish with flaky salt. The cups can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat to soften the marshmallows.

Tips

At 8 minutes these are still slightly soft and crumbly and at 10 minutes they are more structured and crisp. 

Cream & Crumble Berry S’mores

Ingredients:

  • One square of Coda Cream & Crumble chocolate
  • High-quality white chocolate
  • Marshmallows
  • Butter cookies
  • Berry jam of your choosing

Instructions:

  1. Roast a marshmallow to golden perfection.
  2. Spread a thin layer of berry jam on a butter cookie.
  3. Place a square of Coda Cream & Crumble chocolate and a piece of white chocolate on the cookie.
  4. Add the roasted marshmallow and top with another butter cookie.
  5. Enjoy your gourmet s’more!

Coffee & Doughnuts Breakfast S’mores

Ingredients:

  • One square of Coda Coffee & Doughnuts chocolate
  • High-quality milk chocolate
  • Marshmallows
  • Mini doughnuts or donut holes

Instructions:

  1. Roast a marshmallow until it’s gooey inside.
  2. Place a square of Coda Coffee & Doughnuts chocolate and a piece of milk chocolate on a mini doughnut.
  3. Add the roasted marshmallow and top with another mini doughnut.
  4. Enjoy the breakfast twist on a classic s’more!

Toffee & Sea Salt Nutty S’mores

Ingredients:

  • One square of Coda Toffee & Sea Salt chocolate
  • High-quality dark chocolate
  • Marshmallows
  • Graham crackers
  • Almond butter

Instructions:

  1. Roast a marshmallow to your desired level of toastiness.
  2. Spread a thin layer of almond butter on a graham cracker.
  3. Place a square of Coda Toffee & Sea Salt chocolate and a piece of dark chocolate on the cracker.
  4. Add the roasted marshmallow and top with another graham cracker.
  5. Indulge in the nutty, salty-sweet treat!

Maple & Pecan Candied Bacon S’mores

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Roast a marshmallow until it’s soft and gooey.
  2. Place a strip of candied bacon on a graham cracker.
  3. Add a square of Coda Maple & Pecan chocolate and a piece of milk chocolate on the cracker.
  4. Top with the roasted marshmallow and another graham cracker.
  5. Savor the smoky, sweet, and savory flavors in each bite!
